Hey guys!
I'm redesigning my smugmug site (https://christopherroos.smugmug.com/Travel) and was wondering the following:
can you customize the look and feel of the map?
The current look does not fit the site design very well. Was hoping for a more minimalistic feel.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks! :thumb

There are few things on the map that can be modified { but not all }. What exactly would you like to change?
thanks for replying this fast. I was hoping for a more artistic look, like the mapbox light/dark variants. That would go well with the minimal / white look of my site.
This is an example from the mapbox website: https://www.mapbox.com/maps/light-dark/
Cheers,
Chris
Although there are some possibilities to customize some elements of the map, there is no possibility to actually turn the map to this minimal look - because this would require loading of a different version of the map.
You can suggest this as feature request on our User Voice page:

too bad but I understand. Would it be possible to have the map start in 'satelite' viewing mode when a visitor lands on the page?
