Very well seen, great shot! I'm just glad for the added bars so that child cannot fall out.
    Have a great day!

Hi Richard, I am sure you would be familiar with all the shutters on the windows, very European / sensible in the heat.

    Cheers, Richard.

Yes, It would be quite a fall to the Piazza below, no cafe awning below that particular window. Glad you liked the shot.

Hi Eia, yes, all closed or several open would have 'spoilt' the shot.

Great! Reminds me of perfume commercial "Egoiste" or something......it was a building like this and women were opening one window at a time.....

The grill in lower half I think it is breaking the abstract nature.....I would try and see how you like it without it.....also the open window is easier to find that way.....

    Cheers!

Hi, I had a go at your suggestion, but I prefer it as is, less abstract and more real life. Also found the advert you referred to :D.

Well, Richard, we don't see a lot of your work but, when we do, it's usually really fine stuff. This one certainly is.

    Take care,

Well seen. I agree that without that one open window, it wouldn't have the impact that it does.

Good catch--makes me wonder why that person wanted the window open and where is everybody else? Lots of possible stories in this shot. Like it!

Everyone else at work? I would think all windows would be open when they run the Palio Di Siena horse race around the piazza. Glad you liked it.

That is exactly what I thought. That was a very esthetic add and this shot is too.
