Woke at 4 am...lots of coffee...loaded the ski on the car & made for the bay, only 30 mins away so i had a wait for sunrise.

Its 23c (74f) so the car tells me & the water is like a warm bath.

Hard shot at f5.6 and panned it at ISO 100

Lots of fishermen heading out. The bay has always been a good spot to wet a line.

You can't consider yourself a hillbilly untill you have put something made from wood on your car. $265 cheaper than shop roof racks :thumb

Egret shots from Gus!!!!! I feel like i've died and gone to heaven. Even the non-egret shots are excellent.

If you think they are common now wait until March. March will ring in Egret Fest II clap.gifclap.gifclap.gifclap.gif

Thanks for looking guys. Other than the fishermen leaving in the boats & the odd one pumping yabbies in the sand for bait... you have the whole place to yourself.
