Woodland Mushroom Cortinarius largus

This was the first mushroom of the day when our local group surveyed a local woodland. It was just to the side of the road, close to the car park, so not hard to find. Cortinarius are mostly medium-sized mushrooms but this was about 12cm across the cap.
I had some battery problems with my two fill flashes, so I can't be sure how many fired for this shot, but the setup was one flash on an L-bracket and two freestanding on the ground, one on them raised level behind the mushroom.
