Hi folks, my first post so be gentle!
Setting up my pro account and I have this idea of how I would like things to work but can't seem to bang on it hard enough.
I have one gallery where I'd like to put my weddings, under that the albums for the specific weddings. Typically I have a couple of shots for each wedding that I do serious Photoshopping to for a premium price. I need to keep these seperate but part of the overall album, IOW not a seperate album, think "sub-album". Is there a way to make an album inside an album?
Pricing - I don't necessarily want to offer every single print size. I have some shots I'd like to provide up to 8x10 but not allow any larger. Is it possible to customize the print sizes available?
Thanks for any help!

Album w/in album - can't do it, but you can have a LINK to another album, within the album, say, in the description area. To like you simply put in this code:
(Note - replace the text with yours. Replace my gallery link with yours.)

Regarding priciing: yes, you can price only what you want to sell. Then, to see your site as a visitor would, LOGOUT or better yet, have a second browser installed (We love Firefox!) and always stay LOGGED OUT on that second browser.
Our current SmugMug Help Page on pricing:

A couple articles in my blog of note, also:

Follow along here, too - this is not live yet, but we're modifying the pricing page to read as follows:

PS: Thanks for the tips on pricing - it wasn't immediately obvious that a 0 would kill that product.
I set my pricing up for the album. The values show in the boxes.
So howcome when I act like a customer I get the SmugMug standard prices?
And of course I just sent the link to the customers!
So now I have to password them out until I get this fixed.
What did I do wrong? I hit apply and then update after verifying they were as I wished them? If I go back they are still there... Grrrrrr.
Jon
Try logging out and "pretending to be a customer" and you should get the non-standard prices. This is so you don't charge yourself money I believe. Why would you want to pay more for your own prints after all?

As Shima said, log out - better yet - use a 2nd broswer - let me know how you make out..

Yep - make the gallery private. Link in the below, changing where appropriate - in the gallery description.
Hope this helps!

Yes, thanks. It worked great. Maybe I'll be able to move it later with the stylesheet.

Linky? Let's see

Did both and it still showed the base prices. That must be one determined cookie. I had to flush everything before it relented and treated me like a customer. Ahhh well - long as it's behaving properly now...
Thanks guys,
Jon
The KEY with the 2nd browser is to NEVER be logged on to your site with it
