Blurry photos when uploaded

Hi all,
It has been a long time since I have uploaded to Smugmug.
I took some photos and edited them in Aperture. When edited they look sharp and in focus, however, when uploaded to Smugmug, they are soft and blurry.
Can anyone help me figure out why?
Thanks
Chris

Thanks for the reply.
It may well be the upload size. I use the smugmug plugin for Aperture. I thought I had it set up to upload the larger file. I will try to figure out how to change that and if that doesn't work, I'll follow your suggestion.
Thanks again for your time.

Can anyone help me in figuring out how to export the full size (edited) versions? I can't figure out what setting to select for the plug in.
Many thanks

However, this should not resize photos to a different resolution, which appears to be what it does for you. If you can't find a setting to disable this, you could only consider checking out the Apple Support forum or reporting this issue to Apple. You can find the links on our above linked help page.
That said, from what I understand, Apple fades out Aperture and they may no longer provide support for it. So the best option would be to export the photos to a folder on your computer and then use our browser uploader to upload the photos.
You could also look at our Lightroom plug-in for a possible alternative to Aperture.

Thanks for the advice. I was unable to find out how to do the resizing, so was planning on doing exactly as you advise, and uploading from a folder.
Thanks again.
