An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

Nice twilight capture thumb.gifthumb. I like the way the foreground and the tree keeps our view focused on the boats and the horizon.
I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going anyway.

Great mood in this one. The foliage on the left of the tree trunk kinda leads my eye to the left rather than to the right.

Thanks, are you suggesting a crop? I thought the tree needed a little "breathing room" on the left there, no?

I like what you have here. I agree a little crop could help.

Great capture! I too would like to see the left side cropped to eliminate the space left of the tree.

My personal thought is that the curve of the shore and the curve of the tree keeps me pulled into the center. A small crop off of the left side might make a stronger comp, but I think you need some sky on the left to make the silhouette work (imho). Maybe crop to the edge of the rounded shaped tree coming out of the left side.

Indeed - the tree canopy is a wonderful frame for the elements below. the colors are terrific!

I was. And you are right, the tree does need some breathing room, though I thought I'd give it a go, if you don't mind me posting this. I can take this down if you'd like.

David, I don't mind, thanks for taking the time. I'm of the opinion that anything online without a watermark or copyright mark is public domain. But I couldn't really "see" it with just that yellow outline. So how's this?
