Show subcategory, gallery, and photo count

I would like to see the option to show text under each category and subcategory that lists the number of subcategories, galleries, and photos within that category or subcategory. I was able to do this with old Smugmug, using css.

    I'd like this functionality to be like the notifications on iOS apps where each folder and each gallery would have a count on the corner. For example:

    Folder Winter contains gallery Snow. There are 100 images in Snow.
    Folder Winter shows [1] for how many galleries and then the gallery Snow shows [100] for how many images.
