Hi Andy and welcome to Dgrin wave.gif. Your image is not showing on Dgrin, though I can see it on your SmugMug site. Make sure that the gallery is set to allow external links. You may be seeing it on Dgrin because it is cached in your browser.

Hi - looking in the Smug Mug gallery setting I cannot see any part that refers to allowing external links, what am I missing?
    Thanks

I fixed the link. The problem was you put the link to the page containing the image within the IMG tags, and not the actual link to the photo. Make sure your photo URLs that you post end in .jpg.

Great shot and welcome to the Landscapes forum. clap.gif

    Interesting image.

Shot in sunlight or moonlight? Does it matter, even, I wonder.

    I do like this image.

I can see this is shot in the late afternoon as there are sun-lit clouds in the sky.... Did you process this with an IR filter? I like this image, nice depth and texture... if anything... and i'm not sure i'd be inclined to do anything at all..... try reducing the highlights and increasing the shadows in equal amounts..... see what that does...

What this trick will do is tone down the brighter areas on the ground so they don't get overblown when you raise the shadows by a ton.... I want to see what is lurking at the edge of the trees in the left corner......is that a stream you're hiding in your picture, or are you just happy to tree us?.... Laughing.gif

either way, it can keep us mystified by what's over there, or uncover the gem of the photo more than what you're showing us.

    Nice work, keep posting mate

I love this image. It is inviting me to walk through. It looks very 3-D. I might get the whites down a bit so that the starkness is lesser. :)

As much as I would like to CC it, I find no flaws. The image processing is stunning. Good job :)
