This monitor has pretty much the same specs as the one Mitchell notes above, but is priced under $800. A couple of us here at Dgrin are using it and very happy with it.
In graphics world there are lots of monitor in the market for editing pictures.Most of the time people have different choice. Here is some brand able name i can share with you: ASUS PA248Q,LG 34UM95,Samsung S32D850T and BenQ BL3200PT. You can choose from one of them. Hope it will work for you.

The lack of a glossy screen surface was important in my decision. I strongly prefer matte screens to edit with. I use a Color Munki for calibration.
I don't know if it is the best, but it has certainly performed well for me.
