I spent another enjoyable morning over at the local ice rink watching the kids go at it. These guys are only 9 years old (and younger), but they play a lot "older". (Click on image for EXIF)

Kids are fun to watch. If ATL is like SJC, the quality of hockey was probably
not the greatest. But when the pros came to town, I bet things changed
as the popularity increased.
Similar thing happened here with the Sharks. It helps that they now run four
of the best sheets of ice here in Santa Clara County (and soon to be too
more across the bay). It's taken a while but the JR teams have played very
well and we've hosted USA Hockey Nationals.
