modified photos to republish

I publish to my website from lightroom. I'm getting a lot of "modified photos to republish" even though I haven't changed them. When that happens, Titles I have added are wiped out. Any idea what's happening?

I observed that happened on my site after I changed the Lightroom parameters a bit, going from a bit of extra JPG compression to full quality, and then went back to re-edit some older galleries. Lightroom wanted to repost some of all of the pictures in those galleries even though I hadn't touched them. This last started when I updated from LR 6.1 to the latest, 6.7 (standalone, not CC). I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but you are not alone in seeing the issue.

As for the titles, you might take a look a Smug Syncback. It will let you pull the titles up on the website back down into Lightroom.
