Import people tags from Elements 15

I have used Photoshop Elements 15 for face recognition and the names are stored in so called People Tags in Elements. Now I am trying to export these photos to Smugmug using the export function but the people tags does not seem to be exported. I have used "Save metadata to file" in Elements but no luck.
Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.

I'm not quite familiar with Photoshop Elements but in Lightroom there's an option during export to "Remove Person Data". If that option exists during saving in Elements, you'll want to make sure thats unchecked.
