Typical Winter Rugby in Phoenix

It has actually been a bit cool here for November, down in low 60's for a high. Makes for a perfect fall rugby day. Grand Canyon University took on a top 25 ranked ASU, and put it to them tough. B side won and A side was ahead and then tied at half. Lost some key players with minor injuries and too many loose ball penalties cost them in second half and ASU prevailed. Nice way to spend a Saturday--for a rugby fan.

Looking forward to the regular season that kicks off in January. Possibly some womens rugby also.

Thanks,

Yep.... donate blood...play rugby. Played a wee bit, then decided the martial arts were safer.

    Excellent series.

    Thanks for sharing these.

Nice work. Like the contrast of the bright colors and winter-dormant grass.

    Regards

Thanks for the comments. Shot them again yesterday down in Tucson. Might post a few later. 80 degrees and just a few clouds. We'll enjoy this fully before summer hits....in a couple months.
