Wood Duck and more snow geese
Someone get me out of the Wildlife Reserves - I can't stop myself! But this little duck was soooooo pretty and the snow geese so bountiful!
So, now it has started a week of rain and very cold weather. I think maybe these beautiful flying creatures will migrate further south, allowing me to concentrate on other things in life.
And I couldn't crop any of these guys out of the picture.

Great captures. I've seen the Snow Geese take off like this , all at once. It amazes me, 100's of geese and no mid flight collisions. (unlike the freeways )

Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity!
I can see why you keep going back!
Love # 1, 3, and 4.

Oh wow! Fantastic!!
I just found out that my "wood duck" is really a Northern Pintail Drake. He is still my favorite little duck!
And thanks Phil, Denise and Taz for your kind comments.

Such a shame you couldn't capture at least one BIF
Wonderful captures. Great to see so many snowgeese. They are very seldom in Denmark.
1 - very nice - great job!

Thanks Toiny. I don't believe I saw a Ross's. But then there are so many rafted together, it's hard to differentiate. I'll have to pay more attention next time and try to pick out the different types!
