    Hi Murph!

Since it appears you would like some critique on this shot, my suggestion is that it could be improved with a slightly different crop. As it is, the shoe is a bit too centered both horizontally and vertically to make for a very dynamic composition. You might try cropping the photo to place the shoe in one of the 3rds of the pic and a little less centered (imagine lines drawn 2 across and 2 up and down making equal thirds horizontally and vertically and one of the four corners where they intersect is usually a good placement of your subject - the "rule of thirds") . I'd really like to see the shoe take up more of the space, since it's the main subject. Also, the image seems a bit flat, so a boost of contrast would make it pop more. I like the idea of what you've captured...a little tweaking could make it even better. Hope this helps~

    Cheers!

Here's my quick take on your photo using the suggestions in my previous post (sure hope reworks are allowed! I still get a little lost in all the various posting rules here, Laughing.gif!). This was a fast rework from an already reduced jpeg, but your original should yield much better results. The crop could be even a little tighter...if I had more time, a little wee bit more off the top would be good.

Hope you don't mind my taking liberties with your pic. It has a lot of potential, so I'd love to see it developed a little more~
