[CSS] Customize menu color/Sub-menu layout

Hi all - Looking to change the nav menu at the top of my page to white and also looking to make the sub-menu under "STILLS" to go horizontally rather then vertically. Any to achieve either of those through css? Heres the page: http://www.nickjamison.com/stills. Thank you for your help.

Looks like you figured out how to change the color of the nav text. This should make your drop-downs go horizontally.

LOL. Well in that case, I thought you had a tutorial on this on your webpage but now I'm not finding it. Id like to reduce the top and bottom margins of the submenu boxes (making them transparent might be a viable option) and maybe the font size in order to make the dropdown seamlessly drop below the menu and remain in the black header box... does that make sense?
