The completely dark background in the third one is something I generally avoid, but here I liked it.

Very nice set. I like the colors of #2 and love the way the light isolates the subject in #3 from the dark background.

Very nice! The first is my favorite, love the balance between the sky and the cholla.

These are all beautiful. In the right light cholla glows.
"In the right light cholla glows." Yes it does. Thank you.

Three stunning photos! Merry Christmas to you Don!
Thanks, Taz. Merry Christmas to you, too.

Love these. Excellent lighting and colors. Must be Arizona. I see Saguaros in the background. Makes me miss my visits to the Sonoran desert.
Thanks, halcon. The desert is still here if you want to visit again!

Lovely, Don. I love backlit Chollas.

I prefer the mood on the first the best of those two. Of the three shots together, the third is the winner for me.

Joel, David, thanks. David, I thought the third one might get panned and the second would probably have the widest appeal. Shows what I know!

Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful! The colors and texture is amazing.
Very nice. Great comps. #3 might be even better in monotone, maybe with a sepia tint.
