Google Description Showing Up Wrong

Hi guys, when googling nick jamison my site shows up at the top. Awesome. however its showing a really strange description. It looks like its pulling info off the homepage section for the footer etc etc. Looks like this:

Any idea how I can correct it? I did complete all the meta tags in my account settings.

You have no content (text) other than your menu, so Google using that. Google doesn't have to use your meta description if Google feels your current content is a better match.

To add to what has been said before, the way Google and other search engines work, the snippet they display in search results is usually relevant to the specific search term used showing the search result on the page in context. So the meta description may not be displayed. That's something that's decided upon by the search engine for each specific search and not something you or us have any control over.
