my home screen is compressed

My home screen is compressed into a narrow vertical image. it appears it is fitting the entire page on the screen without the need to scroll to see the page , but appears fine when viewed in explorer. Any assistance would be appreciated

    Sorry, all pages act the same way, compressed into fitting to the computer screen size

    Which browsers show the problem? Is there any chance you have a browser zoom set that would be causing this? The reason I asked is you mentioned it is fine in "explorer". I assume you mean Internet Explorer?

    That sounds like you accidentally used the zoom feature in your browser to zoom out. If you reset the zoom to the default 100% again, things should be back to normal.
    You can usually find the zoom setting in the menu button of your browser.
