A really good photo, of almost any genre, is one that stirs emotions within the viewer. This one certainly dug deep with me. I might have opted ( strictly personal choice ) to go with a little stronger blacks, maybe to really emphasize the drama here. Great work.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thank you, Tom, for the nice compliment. It's a manual focus film shot, taken on the fly as the opportunity presented itself. With a shallow DOF to accommodate ISO 400 film in dim light I was happy to get at least part of the subject in focus. It was a tender and spontaneous moment. The rest of the story ended well when family members arrived to further assist the troubled woman. I hope she's OK today.
