How does www.mydomainname.com work?

Hi,
Just signed up as a pro user and I'm looking for instruction on how the custom domain name feature works. So far I've not found anything on how to set this up so...
Am I to assume that I go somewhere like GoDaddy register a name then fill this in, in the control panel. Then I find where smugmug's name servers live and update my account on GoDaddy accordingly?
Or does it work some other way?

It's all here in SmugMug Help:

and there are specific pages on Godaddy, too.
If you need ANY help, holler here for me. The main thing is to ONLY do a CNAME Alias to www.smugmug.com and then put your www.yourdomainname.com in your SmugMug control panel>domain setting.
