Steve if I knew anything about p/p I would be a photoghafer --thanks I am set to take a class or 2 on ps the truth be known i hate computers but I love the hobby too much to stop so one needs to know p/p just as you did as a kid to get better and lift the seat just think I had to take typing lesson to stay on dgrin ---:cry did not get a good grade

I didn't mean this comment to come off sounding mean. But, that is a really nice eagle shot and you've been shooting long enough to know that the job ain't over til the post processing is done Or, is it until the cows come home?... It's one of those anyway.
Seriously, that pic is a bit UE and has a real heavy blue cast to it Not to mention lots of CA on the branches (I get a ton of it too :uhoh ). Anyhow, I pplayed with it and it looks quite a bit different. Better? I think so, but you may not I might have overdone the brightness with levels, but there's not much blowout and you can see da pore mouse
Still have some fringing issues in the branches and wingtips (despite using Shay's Dark Blue Action - CA Fixes) but it looks more like what I would expect to see if I was out in the wilds looking up at this beauty
If my post or my edit offends, I apologize. I hope you take this in the manner intended. Which is to help you get better results from your shooting and post processing efforts
what a great moment and we did get a picture or 2 too boot .Am i glad i stopped by so you could show me that KF bird that you shoot and I may have too ,you got some great shots next time we give them a peanut butter sanwick We never take any shots that are not what we see in the wild and getting close is a work in progress ever day you work at it some days 200 yards is too close for the birds one day I will get a killer shot with out the clipping but until then I am having way to much fun --thanks for the shooting time Ben

Did you shoot those at the Sepulveda Basin, Let's hook up I shoot there all the time.
Man I'm looking for shots like those, I see the red tails over there all the time but can't seem to get lucky with them.
