Experience with Epson RX620

I am looking at the Epson RX620, a 6 color all in one. I have a Canon i850, which is a 4 color model, and I have been very pleased with it. But, my wife wants an easy to use scanner/copier, so I am considering this all-in-one, which looks to be a better photo printer than my Canon, and will take up less room on the desk than a printer and a scanner. It has a film scanner and scans at 2400x4800, which is not too bad, but I am most interested in the photo printing.

I am not really looking for all the doo-dads on the RX620, but I won't buy another printer that isn't better than my very serviceable Canon i850.

Btw, for those interested, there is a $100 back rebate going on, and if you buy from Epson.com, they add another $50, so you can get this $300 printer for $150.

Hang in there, Someone's bound to stop by and have some advice. There happens to be more printer models made these days than there are dgrinners, it seems.

Bump for input...this one has the same engine as the R300, R320 and R340...any experience with those printers?
