Hi Y'all,

After 6 long weeks I finally got to shoot today. One of the highpoints were a pair of young eagles having a disagreement over food.

The older one was enjoying a snack.

"OK Kid stay away from the carrion and no one gets hurt"!
52535752-O.jpg

"If that's your attitude, I'm outta of here"!

The "departure" was a clever ploy to try the other side. It didn't work

"Coming at Ya"!

When eagles meet

In the end experience wins out over youthful enthusiasm

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Harry,

    Very cool shots, great seriesclap.gifclapclap.gif

The guys over at the fish hatchery (they are a wonderful help with wood duck releases) told me there are a couple eagles showing up. Not that I'll get much with the 70-200 but it would be real special to see one.

Hey Harry glad to see ya shooting, hope your feeling better (you know what I mean).

Hmmm very fine series of dirty Eagles and busy backgrounds, Oppps did I just say that :hide rolleyes1.gifblbl.gifrolleyes1.gif :hide

Of course who am I to talk since I have not one stinking EAGLE to offer in rebuttal, however I do have plenty of busy backgrounds shots :wow rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif :lol4

If had to choose I'd go with, Coming at Ya and When Eagles meet !! thumb.gif

Jeff, when I was shooting the scene my attention was on cpturing the eagles. I didn't even see that damned cow bird. Thanks for the kind words Jeff.
