From what I heard, smumug is not really seo-friendly, unlike wordpress...

SmugMug is extremely SEO friendly and we're continuously optimizing SmugMug to be friends with Google, Bing and the other search engines. Photo titles, captions and keywords all play into SEO rank and we recommend that you give all your files titles, captions and keywords. Additionally, the filename may also play a small role, so you may want to name the file something descriptive before uploading to SmugMug.

Keywords are NOT used anymore. Using what SmugMug called 'keywords' are more like 'tags'. Useful for users within your website, but NOT for ranking/SERPS etc.
