Photo load times.

I'm having huge load times, up to 15 sec., loading photos on most galleries. EVERYTHING on the page loads real fast except the photos.

Perhaps a CDN problem?
At least the past week or two off and on. Seems to have cleared now but has done this is past.

I'll double check with the ops teams but all load times look normal as far as my quick check turned up.

Other day after all loaded, the photos finally showed about 15 sec. later. Had stop watch on many. Almost every gallery I went to did this. Some I had been to earlier in the day so photos had to be in cache?

I agree the loading times have been on the high side for a little over a week. It isn't every photo, but often every 5th or 6th photo has taken 6 or more seconds.

If you're noticing things loading slowly, you can post here or send me a Direct Message with:

• your IP address
• a copy of the "traceroute" to www.smugmug.com
• URL you're seeing slow load times on
• Your browser name and version number

Other things that may also help:

• Device (monitor) resolution
• Device (monitor) window size (particularly if your browser is not displayed in the full monitor)

After everything loads but photos I watch the status (links) at bottom of browser flicker between a bunch of stuff for up to 15 sec. So something's going back and forth on that big internet.

BTW, for awhile, yesterday, it was happening to every gallery I switched to.
