Imaging in infrared for several years now, this is a great shot (including cloud control). Departure is great, especially when expanding one's depth. Capturing an image in infrared is harder than it looks (no pun here) and usually under rated as an art form.
Kudos for stepping out of a comfort zone and visualizing the world at 700nm

Thanks, El Gato. Learning what infrared does well and what it does badly has been a bit of a challenge, but it's been worth the effort. It's a niche tool, but for some kinds of shots it's unbeatable.
