Is there a way to customize a jump button on a SmugMug site? such as a smooth scroll down to jump past a slideshow or header image?
perfect example like on this page smugmug.com/plans

I know there is the back to top widget button but is there a way to put an arrow like this over a header image to scroll jump down?

Using anchor links and styling them with either symbols or other graphics to your liking (yea, button design would work too) should do the trick.
Something like this:

Target to jump to:
<a name="jumpto"/>

Link to use to jump to the target on the same page:
<a href="#jumpto"> "what you like, image, symbol or button" </a>
