Hide Certain Keywords

Is it possible to restrict certain keywords from showing on the keywords list, but still have the keywords attached to the images - and returned through Smart Rules?

For example; I am using keywords to display smart galleries in my blog - but don't want these keywords appearing to the viewer as they won't mean anything and distract from the valid keywords.

I am thinking something like SM drops any keywords starting with (say) underscore; so I could display a gallery containing images with _Tech2, but _Tech2 doesn't appear in the Keyword search

I'm not aware of a way to hide specific keywords from the /keyword page on your site or to stop specific keywords from showing under a photo (if you are displaying keywords).
