Good to see you posting more seascapes, Taz. Great stuff as always. "Destination Unknown" is pretty darn cool!

I'm a huge fan of monochrome landscapes. Take away the color and the light and natural elements are the stars of the show. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks Thomas! Thanks K-dog! Thanks Molsondog!
I love b&w too!
Cheers!!
Just gorgeous. You do very well with black and white, just as you do with color.

Thanks kindly Don! Means much to me!
Wow!!
Did you happen to spy Puff when you captured image #9? Looks like Honnah Lee looked, in the memories from my childhood. Excellent image!
As a BIG fan of B&W to see it done with care, precision and a level of excellence as in these images...what can one say but...WOW!

Great set Taz. Wonderful work, nice conversations. Removing color leaves us with the basics, light, shadow, form, texture and composition.

Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity!
Wonderful set Taz! My favorites are 3, 7, and 9.

I'm telling you, my friend, this is some OUTSTANDING work. I love your PP approach with the higher contrast....makes for some really arresting images. This entire set would make for a terrific gallery exhibit.
Take a bow,
Tom
Very nice set, lots of very good shots. Well done.

Wow there is so much serious stuff here! The first one looks like it came from the movie 'The Fog'. Love the mystery and wonderment. #9 maze is quite a'mazing'. I would put the first and this one together to give Mysterious feel. I like all of the splash photos and they show off the ocean's awesome power. (no wonder the ship is wrecked in the first photo). Great detail with the rocks and waves and a nice to see the size and scale. Truly a great set!
Thanks Bryan! ND does give a chance to create interest.
Thanks Anna Maria! Always happy to get your feedback! The bad news on the ship is that it actually got further destroyed in recent storms. It was WW-1 cement ship that never saw action. It was used for entertainment for a while before it broke. Now the stern broke off and turned upside down, so in some ways, this is one of the last photos.
It is interesting to read about the history of that ship.....

As usual, you amaze. Love the BW processing on all of these. I especially like the cement ship portrait - was this taken before she broke up a few weeks back? When I grow up, I want to be you!

Thanks Jo! Yeah, it just broke up in these storms last month or so. That was a bummer.....same thing happened to the one in Point Reyes....it got destroyed in fire....I think you are the one who brought our attention to that one......so I am thinking....I should avoid shooting ship-wrecks. ;o)
Cheers!!
HOLY MOLY!!! Taz, these are fabulous! My favorite is #3 - Romeo's Calm. Great layering, balance between soft mystical & sharp detail.
Thanks kindly JBR! Great to see you post here!
