    Hi
    Nice pictures

I really love the 2nd one, especially because the buildings reflected on the water are not in the picture. That gives the sensation that there is a lot yet to be seen

I really like the last two as well. The first picture is great, the only beef that I have is that the modern boat looks anachronistic. Do you have a similar shot with no boats?

The colors of the last two are outstanding, and this is a view of Venice that I have never seen before. The first shot is almost cliche (not that this is a bad thing- the shot is "typical" in that most of the best shots of venice have this sort of subject, not because everyone can or does take this sort of shot).

Are the last two shots of a newer section of Venice, a sort of Venetian suburbs? Does Venice have suburbs?

Thanks for the comments! Actually the last two shots are of the island of Burano right next to Venice (we got there by vaporetto). I'll check to see if I have a view without the modern boat. I took a lot of photos and haven't made it through all of them yet.

Tell me about it! I just got through arranging and processing photos that I took from a trip last November. Please do post some more of these, they make me want to visit Venice.

i love the first 1 it has a nice mood to it and almost a "grungy" feel. as oposed to the others with bright pastel colors that are very optomistic.thumb.gif

    Great pics. thumb.gif

They bring back fond memories of my visits to Venice back in the 1980s.

Burano is a great place to photograph.
I really like the man looking down from the window, and the giant slice of pizza. :D
