Smugmug and sites are down

I must say this is very unusual - it appears that DGRIN forum is the **only ** site that is up right now. Smugmug and evidently all of our sites are currently down. I don't think I've ever seen this. Hopefully all will be corrected soon.

As many of you are aware, we use Amazon S3 to host/store all of your photos (for a number of amazing reasons)... unfortunately Amazon is having a major outage which is impacting thousands of major websites all over the world. Our Engineers are working with Amazon to restore all service as soon as possible. All of your photos are safe and sound and everything should come back as soon as Amazon is able to restore services.

Definitely effecting more than just SM and dgrin. My daughter cannot access her classes she takes online.

That was really unfortunate. There are only a few days a year I really need the site to be reliable (last Friday, Sunday, Monday and yesterday), due to several carnival activities in my hometown.
Luckily, part of the pictures got uploaded before Amazon S3 broke down. People will have to wait till this evening for the remainder of the pictures. (Have to work during the day.)

All I'm seeing is broken links where pictures should be. SM down?

Must have been a short hiccup. Seems to be back up now a half hour later.
