Custom background changes between homepage and galleries

I have a custom background for my client proofing site that is a tiled graphic. It looks fine on the home page but when I go into a gallery it changes back to the default background of the theme I've customized and renamed to my custom theme. When I click 'customize' > 'content and design' from a gallery, the background changes back to the way it should look, with the tiled graphic. It's baffling me as it appears I have everything set up the way it needs to be.
Furthermore, my favicon stopped working a while back, I've re-uploaded it and set it but it's still just the default smugmug logo.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your adding your background image to 'Entire Site' and not just your home page and/or all galleries.

Thanks for the reply Mike, I do have 'Entire Site' set as the option, that's why it's so vexing.
Looks like you figured it out. I see the same background now on those two links above.

Thanks Mike, I guess it resolved itself. Maybe it was a bug or had something to do with the Amazon server crashes last week but it does appear to be working fine now. I appreciate your responses!
