Snowy Surprise in GSMNP

My family had a holiday reunion a few years ago outside the park. Snow wasn't expected at all but it came anyway. Fortunately I had my equipment with me and sneaked off to Metcalf Bottoms the morning after the snow. The roads were closed but it was worth the walk!

    Very nice. It looks so clean. Cant believe snow is still around... :) The brown bridge and the rocks in water compliment one another against the white snow!
