Site Meta Title

I have changed the Site meta title in account settings to read “Wild Frog Photography - Travel and Wildlife Photography - Colorado USA” all good when bookmaking etc, But only on my independent home page. On all other pages it reads “xxxxxxxx” - Wild Frog Photography | The Wildlife Around Us | People & Places" when you go to bookmark it. How do I change it/or where, to read the same as the home page, if I already have the first one in Account setting “site meta title”. Is this a independent home page bug.
Cheers
Dave

That's a good question. There used to be a place to edit the meta title on the other pages, but I can't find it now. @leftquark - any ideas?

Where can I edit my pages? I can edit my home page's meta title, but not my galleries/pages. Your screenshot doesn't help.

Mike, if you change the display name in the Profile section, the name you'd add there will show on the tabs of folders/galleries/pages, too. It's not possible to set up different meta title for each folder/gallery/page.

Thanks Bee,
It seems to be working now
Looking at SM support page http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1229846?b_id=1644 under “Site Meta title” (also in account settings) it should be mentioned that you need to put details in “Edit Profile” also, if you are running a independent home page the information here is not correct.

In the process of helping @Djm3006 I looked on my site to see what section to edit. In my case my home page's title meta is
California Landscape Nature Photography | Fine Art Prints
and my other pages arexxxxxxxx - Prints for Sale
. You said by changing my name on the profile section would fix that. My name on my profile saysMike Matenkosky
.For SEO purposes I used 'Prints for Sale' instead of my photography name because nobody will search for my name. There used to be a section for 'Site Name' or something like that. I can't find where I typed in 'Prints for Sale'.

Also, this link is a bit dated http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1229846?b_id=1644
Looking at number 3, metadata keywords. Search engines quite using those years ago. They're only helpful if your competitor can look at your source code and you can see what keywords they're trying to rank for.

I e-mailed support last week. There was a setting in the old SmugMug. Apparently when I migrated to the new SM, there was some type of "...some kind of bug or holdover from when your account was migrated".
Glad to hear I wasn't missing something. Since they "kicked it", my meta title now shows my name. Since I STILL don't want my name, I changed it back to what I wanted it to say. Since I don't use the SmugMug contact form, everything is good for me.
