    Great color. It's a little hard to get a sense of scale. I'm guessing that it's not very big, so it's probably more for ornamentation than practical use. At least for horses. Maybe for dogs :wink: .

    It's mounted on a wall in front of a house, Richard, and maybe 12" tall and 4-5' above the street.
    Probably an anachronism for tying up a horse. Don't see horses in town much any more.
