...was nudged into this by one of the mods, Southern Cal (and Cal in general) has gotten much-needed rain this winter and as you might guess, the landscapes are amazing. I took a trip north from my home in the OC to a place I've never been, but had to see and document due to recent publicity. Good choice all around, since the roads in and out I've never traveled!

...yes, just two weeks ago...still standing water (which you know will be gone by June!) I'm hoping next winter will be rainy, too...now that I know what's what in this place I'll do it right...I'll put up some more from the Grapevine/Ft Tejon...

That bloom is pretty amazing. We dont quite see that in this part of the country although the wild mustard will ho nuts here and there. Great shots
