SmugMug Android App problem with Samsung S8 Phone

The SmugMug android app works on my old Samsung S7 Phone but will not work with my new Samsung S8 Phone.
It shows the picture icons but when you try to open one it gives a message "We're sorry, we couldn't download that photo. Please try again."

Is it still happening? Sometimes this occurs for a minute or two and then goes away. I had a few of those for about 30 seconds in iOS just now but corrected itself.

Yes it is still doing it. I've tried all the settings with no luck. The app works fine on all my other android devices.

This is doing the exact same thing on my LG G6, tried uninstalling still no photos.
