Croton Point Part II (lots of birds here!)
As mentioned in Part I, I spent a couple of hours at Croton Point in New York State....
Here are a few of the flying guys I saw today...
Canadian Geese
A Common Merganser, I believe...
Not sure exactly what this guy is - he seems out of place...
Perhaps a broad wing or coopers?
A Red-Tail Hawk...
And yes, that appears to be a juvenile bald eagle a little too far away sitting on the ice...
And another adult flyer, also too far away...but giving me hope for next time...
And that's the end...hope you enjoy...
Regards...Keith

ps...
just by some miracle...if anyone heads to this area and goes to the end of the parking lot near the railway station (past the salt house), please keep an eye out for a compact flash card - I do believe for the first time in six years of having a digital camera, I lost a memory card when it fell through a (at the time unknown) hole in my pocket. probably has some darn good shots on it also....
Thanks...Keith
I'll take a look tomorrow for you - near the end there, where the old men do their fishing? If I find it, I'll holler.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
