Slideshow Vs full screen photos vs carousel

Hi all

Just wondering, do you guys think having a home page slideshow is a bit old style now, so many sites i see have either a full page of smaller multiple images or a carousel. I still have a slideshow but thinking i may change it to one of the other options.

What do you think ?

To me this is a very simple question.

When you visit any business website, how much time do you spend on the homepage?

Now look at your website stats. How many people spend more than 1 second on your homepage?

If you are using Google's Analytics (GA), you can find that data; 'Behavior > Site Content > Content Drilldown".
