Smugmug & my website

I have hired a design firm to build my new website and I have chosen Smugmug (business plan) for the sole purpose of image galleries & purchasing/price lists. Is there anything I need to tell the web designers about Smugmug? I believe they will be using WordPress, so I assume they can put all their code on Smugmug to make it look identical. Thanks in advance for any help!

SmugMug doesn't allow Javascript if that helps. Also, you will need to create a sub-domain for either your SmugMug site or WordPress.
I use WordPress as my website and SmugMug (sub-domain) for my galleries. I've been able to make the two sites 99.99% identical and I'm NOT a web designer.

@Hikin' Mike
Hi Mike, since at some point I'd like to more fully integrate my websites, this theme is of interest to me. I am curious about the purpose of having one site be the sub-domain of the other. Could you please explain?
My website started as a WordPress site (www.imagesinthebackcountry.com) . In order to continue using my WordPress platform and adding SmugMug, I had to create a sub-domain (gallery.imagesinthebackcountry.com) and point my SM site to the new sub-domain. SmugMug can't point to a "folder or directory", like 'www.imagesinthebackcountry.com/gallery/'. To me it's the best of both worlds. By using SmugMug I get the great e-Commerce features I need and by keeping WordPress, I can use some of the WP plugins to get a better contact form and a blog.

Thanks for explaining - I think I get it... Would it make sense to construct it the other way, with SM as the main domain and the WP site as the sub-domain? Would that work with Wordpress?
Yes, you can do that too. Since your already using SM as the domain, it just makes sense to keep it that way. Just create a sub-domain for your blog like 'blog.saraphoto.de' or something like that, and install WordPress there.
