Kool April Nites - 2017

We took Daisy (our 41 Chevy) up to Kool April Nites In Redding this past April to once again enjoy the Friday night cruise and Saturday Show and Shine. The cruise is my favorite car photo op - as I install myself in the middle of the road in a crosswalk behind a tree to try to capture all the beauties (mechanical that is) that pass in the night. I wasn't able to stay in my spot for the entire cruise as a local TV reporter and cameraman also wanted my prime spot, so since I didn't want to be on the other side of the camera, I capitulated and left the spot for about 1/2 hour - luckily, friends own a business at that spot and were serving appetizers and beverages, so it could have been worse! Here are some of the sights from the cruise.

Great set Jo. Looks like a real fun time. You mentioned "real" flames, you should check out the flame artwork of Mike Lavallee @ Killer Paints.com some consider him the original innovator of this style.

Taz, Willard, and Jorgen - thanks for your comments. And yes Taz, they are similar to last years, but some are a little different. I can never get enough of these beauties, so I may bore you all next year too!

wow - it looks like a blast from the past! I especially like the first one!!! Way cool. And a nice way to show off these beauties.... on the street. I think this is a really nice set! And I am not a car person.
