Hi , Brought a new lens, Please advise, if this lens is worth holding back or should I exchange this lens for new copy of nikon 200-500mm , I have read that not all copy of lens are good.

Going to your Flickr photostream it looks like you are getting good sharpness. I strongly suggest that you try to get closer to subjects, plus crop in to the subjects as needed. Capturing to RAW/NEF files and using software to sharpen in post-processing is recommended.
