Search results differ when logged in compared to not logged in

Hi,

I've set up a custom search box at http://www.cameronlaird.com/Galleries/Stock-Imagery/Stock-Photos/n-pzrRzL/ which is set to only return results from the "Stock Imagery" folder. When I'm logged in to my site it correctly shows 4 results when I search for "cowboys". I have 4 photos in this folder containing images with Cowboys in the caption/keyword. When I log out however and do the same search it returns 3683 results as it has looked at all folders on my site.

Any idea how I fix this? I want customers to get results from only my stock images.

I'll take a look. It shouldn't be doing that.

I took a look into this and it appears that we have some odd-behavior where setting the scope for a search to an Unlisted folder will instead return results for the entire site. In the past we didn't allow you to mix Public sub-folders inside an Unlisted Folder, so doing this kind of search would have always resulted in 0 results. When we allowed you to put Public sub-folders inside an Unlisted folder, we missed adding support for this.

To get around this, you could make your "Stock-Imagery" folder Public, if that's acceptable for you.
