Slideshow alignment

Ideally I would like the menu to be vertical on the left of the page (but further down/further away from my logo) and the slideshow would be better aligned, like my test page, and in the center of the page. It seems to take over the whole width of the page thereby pushing it below the menu. Hope this makes sense.

You can move the menu around by going into customize - content and design - entire site. Hover over menu - click on dimensions and adjust margins until you get the desired location.

For slideshow you can do the same thing by going into customize - content and design - homepage. Hover over slideshow - click on dimensions and adjust margins.
