American Air

Well here goes my first post in a challenge. I have been watching the challenges with all the great photos, so I have felt mine were not as good.
So here goes, let me know what you think.
This is a picture of 30mph air on a giant flag. I had a hard time trying to get a clear shot with all the clutter around, so I may have over cropped it. I was thinking of just showing the flag itself, but I thought the ground would give it some perspective as to how large this flag is. It takes a lot of "air" to fly this flag.
Thanks.

I would be tempted to crop out the unrelated elements of the bottom of the frame and leave just the flag and sky. Just my thought.

Just the flag.

Realize that you need to go with your heart and what you think looks good, but even a tighter crop (probably a new photo zoomed in then cropped) with extra saturation and a lot of contrast may be a better option. Make sure to have a lot of movement in the flag for dimention and try not to have the stripes flow horizontal through the frame. A little angle helps the eyes.
