Camera Awesome

Pretty confused On my last phone iPhone 5s I had the app Camera Awesome, which I had always used. It stopped working and I read an article that it was no longer supported.
Just upgraded to my new iPhone 7+ and found I could once again download the app and use camera Awesome once again. has there been a change? What happens when there is another apple software update for the phone, will I once again lose the ablity to use the app

Have to tried to delete a photo? The app is busted.

I don't know if anything has changed but I would expect that if it had, the help page would be updated.

Actually I did notice that if you try to delete a photo it exits the app back to phone main screen and doesn't actually delete the photo. if its not supported I am surprised its still available in the Apple App Store showing developer as Smug Mug and you can download it to an iPhone. Apart from deleting a photo it seems to work ok. Maybe as my phone is new and not needing an update at the moment it initially works. interesting to see what happens when my next software update takes place
