HI all,
I am asking this for a friend who will be installing Elements 15 over the next day or two and is looking to purchase a separate book for reference. He is asking if anyone here may have purchased this book and what your impressions of it are, or a review.
I don't use Elements, but I did tell him today that Adobe has some good online user manuals, forums, tutorials, etc. that he may want to check out before shelling out $30 or $40 for a third party book.
So, If anyone here uses Elements and has an opinion, please share here!
Here is the Amazon link for the book:

Thanks in advance,
Jo

Not an Elements user either, but I think your comment about online resources is spot on. Spending 40 bucks for a book about a program that only costs $70 seems wrong somehow, dunno.
I've been playing around with elements quite a bit lately and I would recommend avoiding the book. There are entirely too many free online resources available. On top of that, many (certainly not all) of the regular PS video instructions also work.

Richard and Steve - thanks so much for your input. I'll pass it on.

Here is what I've been using to learn some editing. Most of it can be applied to elements 15. There are also more youtube videos than can be counted.
