Are there any ways of modifying the Gallery Styles

I do not really like any of the Gallery Styles. Can they be customized? For instance is it possible to eliminate the "pages 12345..." from the Journal style?

Not sure I understand. You want to remove the number of pages in Journal Style? Journal Style doesn't show that, unless I'm not seeing that in my testing gallery. If your talking about the SmugMug Style gallery, add this:

/**
* Hides Number of Pages
***************************************************/
.sm-user-ui .sm-gallery-tiles-bar {
    display: none;
    }

Journal style galleries do show page numbers (but I suppose that's not really "number of pages"). You can look at my travel stories gallery to see the page numbers - http://www.denisegoldberg.com/Travel-stories/Wandering-assisted-by-2-feet/.

Problem is, if you remove the page numbers there won't be any way to get beyond the first page of the gallery.

Although my journal-style gallery with multiple pages I see page numbers but I don't see "pages 12345 ...". Perhaps you could link to a gallery on your site to show the problem.

I guess I didn't have enough photos to fill multiple pages.

There is an arrow to the right of the thumbnails.

Agree. Would like to see the page.
